Our women’s travel tours are luxurious but without formality and are intentionally kept small (no more than 8 – 12 women) to be more personal and flexible. We believe women know how to have fun!  Itineraries include a variety of activities, yet incorporate some free time to allow you to relax, shop or explore some on your own. Great care is made to select quality restaurants to introduce you to the local cuisine as we feel dining is a significant part of the overall experience. Professional bi-lingual local guides are carefully selected to enhance each tour in a fun, engaging and educational way.

Accompanying you on your tour is Gateway Destinations’ owner, Jan Acorn, shown here traveling with one of her favorite travel partners—her son, Cameron.  A local bi-lingual guide is hired for all or a portion of each women’s travel tour to share their in-depth knowledge of the region visited.

Museums, Eiffel Tower, Rodin,  Bois de Boulogne, City of Lights, Louvre, tea rooms, Coco Chanel, Wine, Moulin Rouge, cathedrals, fine restaurants, flea market, OOH, LA, LA!  I experienced all of this PLUS much more by going to Paris with Jan Acorn of Gateway Destinations and her French guide, Eric.   There is no substitute for seeing France with a Frenchman (and his car). Jan made it all so easy by meticulous advanced planning and bookings.  She smoothed the way at every turn and the only decision I had to make was choosing between the fruit tart or the chocolate éclair! I was treated like the infamous queen, but through it all, unlike the queen, I was able to keep my head. Eric’s daily French kisses on both cheeks weren’t hard to take either.”
