The Delights of the Dordogne River Valley

Enjoy a full day excursion with your bi-lingual guide to the Dordogne River countryside filled with charming villages and boasting relaxed scenic beauty. Visit the historic villages of Sarlat, Domme and La Roque Gageac and dine in a traditional Perigord restaurant for lunch. Your journey will include a visit to a prehistoric cave and a foie gras production farm, topped off with wine-tasting at a local chateau. Return to Bordeaux to enjoy the sights for an evening on your own. B, L

Cruising the Waterways of the Bordeaux Wine Region

Spend the morning enjoying the sights of Bordeaux, then transfer to the Mirabelle in time for a welcoming wine tasting onboard your hotel barge. Embark on a six-day exploration of the Bordeaux wine region, sampling its delicious and legendary wines. Your onboard wine expert will introduce you to a wide array of vintages during your relaxing journey on three peaceful waterways – not only on board, but also when visiting various vineyards. Delight in the local foods of this region and explore the local treasures of the quaint villages along the way with our personal guide.
