Day 1 |
Welcome to Provence |

Arrive in alluring Avignon via
transfer from the Marseille Airport. Settle into your room at
the historic
Cloître Saint-Louis
Hotel in the center of the
medieval walled section, then enjoy time on your own getting
acquainted with the surrounding shops and sights. You will be
welcomed with a local apéritif and relaxing dinner in your
hotel as you are greeted by your local French guide who will

Day 2 |
Step Into Provence |

The
morning will be spent in Avignon visiting the wonders of this
well-preserved city surrounding the Pope’s Palace. After
lunch, your guide will take you to the popular antique markets

Day 3 |
The Taste of Provence |
|
Visit
a nearby outdoor market with a well-known local chef and help
him prepare a gourmet lunch for your tasting enjoyment. The
rest of the afternoon will include a guided visit to several
picturesque villages to shop for some of Provence’s many

Day 4 |
The Nectar of Provence |
|
Travel
through the beautiful Provençal countryside tasting the
world-renowned Côtes-du-Rhône wines while discovering small
villages during an easy stroll through vineyards. Arrive at
your historic hotel in the heart of Vaison-la-Romaine, a
medieval village rich with history in Haute-Provence. B, D |

Day 5 |
The Top of Provence |
|
Enjoy
the history of Vaison-la-Romaine, a charming village complete
with a Roman theater before venturing into the surrounding
countryside to admire the greatest views in all of Provence as
you explore the Mount Ventoux area. Sample delectable
chocolates along the way by local artisan, Christian Chaloin,
and savor local cuisine in a regional restaurant before
returning to your hotel in the village. B, D |

Day 6 |
Lovely Luberon |
|
Continue
your Provence journey to the Luberon area, visiting Fontaine
de Vaucluse with its crystalline spring-fed river. Relax in
the afternoon in your beautiful bastide where you can indulge
in luxurious spa services if you wish or you may choose to
take a guided walk - to the nearby village of Gordes or the
11th century Senanque Abbey. B, L |

Day 7 |
The Senses and Colors of Provence |
|
Visit
the geological wonder of Roussillon known for its beautiful
ochre painting materials and a lavender museum. Taste the
delicious wines from Domaine Ruffinatto before returning to
Les Bories for a farewell dinner. B, D |

Adieu! |
|
After breakfast, transfer to
Marseille Airport for your departure home.
